CH64 Gallery presents three works by Mishiko Sulakauri, exploring heritage, identity, transformation and the human condition. In Totem 01, a steel piece shaped like the architectural footprint of a UNESCO heritage site, Sulakauri incorporates symbols, gestural lines, and color splashes inspired by street and popular culture. Two platinum-glazed ceramic roof tiles with figurative forms reference ancient bas-reliefs, while abstract symbols evoke mysterious markings often found on historic carvings, creating a unique visual language.
